What Porch Planbook is
Porch Planbook publishes planning information on porch design and renovation for U.S. homeowners and passes estimate requests to independent local professionals. It does not perform construction, employ contractors, or guarantee the price, schedule or workmanship of any professional you hire. Any agreement for work is between you and the professional you choose.
How to use the information
Cost ranges, calculator results and statistics describe national or regional figures from the named sources and from Porch Planbook's own analysis of public data. Your project will be priced on its own site conditions, local labor rates and permit rules. Use the guides to plan and to compare written proposals, and confirm code and permit requirements with your local building department.
Choosing a professional
Before you hire, check the professional's license and insurance where your state requires them, ask for a written scope and price, and confirm who is responsible for permits and inspections. Porch Planbookdoes not rate professionals or publish testimonials, and a professional's response to your request is not an endorsement by this site.
Content and sources
Statistics link to their original publishers, whose terms apply to their data. Porch Planbook's own tabulations of federal data may be quoted with a link back to the page they appear on. Photographs are licensed stock images credited on the page and do not show work arranged through this site.
Acceptable use
Please do not submit false estimate requests, attempt to disrupt the site or its polls, or copy its pages wholesale. We may remove poll votes or requests that appear automated or abusive.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions go to info@porchbuilders.online. See also the privacy policy.
